Series: ENERGY BALLS
Inspiration for “Energy Balls” series is rooted in my fascination with the Universe‘s secrets, one of which is dark energy its major component. Being a complete enigma of which more is unknown than known, I found it to be a perfect matter for my artistic interpretation. I try to resolve its mystery by diving deep into myself were the possibilities of creations seem unlimited and I can slowly tune with creative spirits.
As I open up for them to work through me, quietness and patience help me uncover the Universe‘s mystery. Dark energy appears to me as build of Energy Balls. I try to give that energy a material form as I place each ball on paper using a monotype technique. I bring them to life by playing with abstract forms hidden within other shapes and experimenting with layers of colors. Not two are the same. They only share a basic principle - circular shape, the purest of all forms. Each unique by itself institutes separate plane of existence with the unlimited possibilities of interpretation. All hope to activate viewer openness to the possibility that reality, as one perceives it may be indeed mysteriously different from what one thinks.
